Creating Digital OMR For personal use.

Introduction                While preparing for an exam or otherwise, sometimes we feel that we should have an OMR sheet that can help us evaluate ourselves. This is a very big problem for a serious student. In this article, I am going to discuss an easy and free solution to this problem. For that, there is no coding or very heavy computer science knowledge is required. Isn't that great? Which platform?           There are a lot of platforms like Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, etc. But I personally prefer Notion. It is free, convenient, less complex, and fits into my reading workflow. In Notion, the useful tool is called "Database"—it is similar to Excel or Google Sheets with a simple interface. It is similar to using a form, or any data entry tool, for that matter. Enough buildup, let's get started....... Necessary Setup               First, install the app on your phone or access i...

The Language of Power is Changing — and So is India's Response

In the 21st century, the global distribution of power is undergoing a seismic shift. The traditional hard power tools of tanks, missiles, and coercive diplomacy are being increasingly complemented, and sometimes supplanted, by softer, more nuanced levers of influence — data, technology, narrative control, economic networks, and multilateral alliances. This evolving "language of power" is no longer solely about military might or territorial acquisition; it's about influence, resilience, and adaptability in a hyperconnected, multipolar world. As the grammar of geopolitics is rewritten, India, as a rising power, is recalibrating its strategy and posture — not just to react to the changing dynamics, but to actively shape them. I. From Gunboat Diplomacy to Digital Influence Historically, the might of empires and nations was judged by the size of their armies or the range of their artillery. However, in the 21st century, control over information , technology , supply chains...

50 Years Since the Emergency: India’s Darkest Chapter and Its Echoes Today

“The price of liberty is eternal vigilance.” As India marks 50 years since the declaration of Emergency on June 25, 1975 , it is time to revisit not just an episode but an entire era that redefined Indian democracy. Half a century later, the scars of the Emergency remain etched in the national psyche, as both a cautionary tale and a historical lesson. 🔥 What Happened on June 25, 1975? At midnight, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of Emergency under Article 352 of the Constitution, citing “internal disturbances.” This 21-month-long period (1975–1977) suspended fundamental rights, press freedom, and civil liberties. Thousands of opposition leaders, journalists, students, and activists were jailed — without trial. From Jayaprakash Narayan to Atal Bihari Vajpayee , democracy's torchbearers were silenced. The Constitution was amended 39 times, the judiciary was tamed, and the Parliament became a rubber stamp. 🚨 Why It Still Haunts Us 1. Constitutional Manipula...

On the Brink: How Decades of Mistrust Between the US and Iran Exploded This Week

A sudden escalation. A daring military operation. The world holds its breath. The recent US bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities has thrust a long-simmering conflict onto the global stage, leaving experts and everyday citizens alike asking: what happens next? In a move that reverberated across the globe, the United States, in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, 2025, conducted a series of airstrikes on key Iranian nuclear sites. The operation, reportedly involving advanced bunker-busting munitions, targeted facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan – the heart of Iran's controversial nuclear program. The immediate aftermath has been a whirlwind of condemnations, justifications, and the looming threat of a wider, more devastating conflict. This is not a story that began this week. To understand the gravity of the current situation, we must look back at a history fraught with mistrust, covert operations, and broken promises that have defined US-Iran relations for over seven decades...
